RE:DEFINE LEADERSHIP
Leaders should be admired, not tolerated.
Today, it seems like leadership “experts” couldn’t be more excited to sell you the promise of a better ego. And they do it using a long list of tricks to get you glued to a screen. Any screen will do.
Turns out, the blue light emitted by screens is the perfect energy source for growing your sense of irrational self-importance. Like a cactus in the desert, online is the only place a big ego thrives; everywhere else, you’re just a prick.
May we suggest an alternative?
Tomorrow’s leadership isn’t about leaders at all. It’s about using empathy to get everyone in the room tuned into the same things, feeling the same stuff. Because when you feel what the whole group is feeling, “you” become the entire room full of people. And that, after all, is what leadership is all about: swallowing your ego.

Leaders should be admired, not tolerated.
If money is your motivation, you’ll run out.
Red means go. Green means grow. No means no.
The game of my-ego-versus-yours isn’t won by playing.
Are most beautiful stories are the true ones.
Thoughts follow feelings. And it works the same with people.
Build an ecosystem, not an ego-system.
LESS sell, MORE soul; LESS yell, MORE yo.
Swallow your ego.
